A little over two months ago I had the opportunity to travel to Palestine for a photography project with Skatepal. As regular visitors to my website will be aware, once a year I try to volunteer for a skateboard charity with projects in developing countries around the world.
To date that has been with Make Life Skate Life, however this year I travelled to Palestine with Skatepal which is run by a great team of people including a long time friend of mine, Theo Krish. My aim was to document the skateboarders in Ramallah and Asira Al-Shamaliya and coincided with two very good friends from Queenstown volunteering for Skatepal.
I shot the project on 35mm film and am thrilled with the results. I'm aiming to put on an exhibition and enter into some competitions with some of the images and will update you once I have more news. In the meantime I have included a few shots here for you to check out. Enjoy!
