BMW on Ice Returns 2026

Teaming with Velvet Image more and more has been a rewarding journey and has lead us producing and shooting more high performance automative work. Following their last event in 2024, the BMW Ice Drive Experience, now branded BMW Area M, returned for 10 days of filming on the ice flats of Cardrona at Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds. The line-up includes standout M performance models such as the 440M, X3 50M, X7M, and M3 Competition.

Ice driving gives these cars a rare stage. It slows the action just enough to reveal detail, while keeping every shot full of tension.
