Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.

I’ve been based in Queenstown, New Zealand for over 10 years now and having initially come here on a working holiday visa, I knew immediately this is where I wanted to call home and am now a New Zealand Citizen.

I acquired my filming skills initially through skateboarding and through that I began to discover my passion for film-making. It very quickly led to me producing and shooting a number of broadcast television shows in the UK, Europe and the US. Shortly thereafter I began work on the first of three documentaries in Myanmar (Burma), two of which won awards as well as being featured on BBC World News and CNN.

I have been incredibly fortunate to develop my skills as a camera-operator, director and editor on a broad range of interesting and diverse content across all seven continents including countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Palestine, Argentina and Antarctica.

I’m as much at home working on a set of 60+ people in a foreign language shooting in places such as Iraq and Myanmar as I am working as a one man band directly with a client.

Over the years, I’ve grown accustomed to shooting in all kinds of environments.

One month it might be in scorching temperatures working for Entertainment Tonight shooting a feature on Survivor in Fiji, the next freezing as I hike through the Antarctic Peninsula shooting an ultra-marathon, to filming a political rally in the Kurdish region of Iraq with the sound of gun fire bursting from every angle. At other times it might be filming snowboarding at the New Zealand Winter Games or tracking BMWs racing round a track in Cromwell.

I’ve worked for Diaries Downunder in Queenstown on branded content for the likes of Air New Zealand & Tourism New Zealand, contracted to Kinetic Media for over 4 years on a wide range of Iron Man content as well as the Winter Games and I also contract to AJ Hackett Bungy for brand and social campaigns. In 2021 I became the regional camera-operator (on a freelance basis) for TV3, shooting numerous pieces of content for The Project throughout the year.

Further afield, I’ve worked with the Australian Youth Olympic Team at the 2018 Buenos Aires Youth Olympics, shot TVCs for Artisa Film in Myanmar, directed a brand film for the UN, shot numerous short skateboard films for Make Life Skate Life and worked with Racing the Planet on all four of their '4Deserts' events as well as their 'Roaming Race' here in New Zealand. Outside of video content production, I love to shoot analog photography and have exhibited a street/youth focused series from Palestine.

If it’s exciting & I can film it, I’m in!
