Great to have been involved in shooting The New Zealand Snowboard Movie. I did two days shooting at Remarks, Coronet Peak and some Master Interviews. Click the link below to watch it!
24 Ski Areas. 3 Regions. Endless Adventures.
See You At The Bottom – The New Zealand Snow Movie is a 20 minute film that has one simple goal in mind: To leave you lusting to get to the mountains. We unveil the unique big mountain experiences on offer in each of New Zealand’s distinctly different ski regions.
The film kicks off with Queenstown and Wānaka, where skiers and snowboarders are spoilt for choice. The lively bustle of Queenstown contrasts to the peace and tranquillity of Wānaka. All visitors to these snow sports meccas are looked after – you can find first timers and Olympians enjoying the same mountain on any given day. The film then moves to Canterbury, where rugged personalities meet community spirit and some of the country’s most breath-taking skiable terrain. The iconic Canterbury club fields are explored, alongside Mt Hutt Ski Area. Ruapehu It all culminates in the film’s final section, in what is arguably New Zealand's most unique winter experience – skiing and snowboarding on a volcano. Often described as “The Meeting Place”, Mt Ruapehu is home to Whakapapa and Tūroa ski areas, sitting almost perfectly in the centre of the North Island.
