It's been a long time, (6 years!) since I was last in one of the 4 Deserts filming for Born to Run. Last week however, one of the race directors, Sam Fanshawe got in touch as she was heading to New Zealand to scout locations for their race here next year. Together with Adrian Bailey from Active QT we headed to locations in and around the Queenstown and Wanaka region scouting potential locations; my job was to shoot some aerial scenics for a teaser video. Had a blast this past week filming friday through Sunday with Isaac Spedding on a job working for Kinetic Media. We were tasked with producing some stories with competitors and other characters that have had a history with the Macpac Motatapu. After producing three brand videos for Ultimate Hikes last year, I have been commissioned to produce some new material for them as they get their new website ready, launching in April.
