Great to be involved with the Tour of Southland again last month. It's been a couple of years since I last worked on it and previously only for one day. Working with Richard and Ingrid at Kinetic Media again was awesome and shooting for the entire seven day event was fantastic.
With two editors working round the clock a thirty minute broadcast show was produced each evening for TVNZ1 and a recap on Duke the following day.
Spending seven days on the back of a motorcycle shooting was a new challenge, managing fatigue whilst always being mindful of safety and of course getting the shot. My pilot Paul was a seasoned motorcyclist and has worked on the tour for many years so I couldn't of been in better hands.
